How OnLine Hypnotherapy Works

Professional Hypnotherapy - Wherever You Are

Online hypnotherapy allows you to work with Karen from the comfort & privacy of your own home, using Zoom. It is just as effective as in person sessions & is now widely used by hypnotherapists & healthcare professionals around the world. Hypnotherapy does not rely on physical touch or being in the same room. It works through focused attention, communication & relaxation. Many clients actually prefer online sessions because they feel: 1. More relaxed in their own environment 2. Less rushed  3. Safer & more comfortable. Being in a familiar space often helps people go deeper into relaxation.

For an online sessions you will need: 1. A quiet, private space  2. A stable internet connection  3. A device with camera & sound (laptop, tablet or phone)  4. Headphones are recommended but not essential.

Karen will guide you through everything, you don't need any prior experience and she works with clients online across New Zealand, Australia & internationally.

What Happens In An Online Hypnotherapy Session

1. Initial Conversation: Each session begins with a calm, professional conversation to understand how you're feeling and what you'd like to work on. This allows Karen to tailor the session specially to you. 2. Guided Relaxation: Karen will guide you into a relaxed, focused state, similar to daydreaming or being absorbed in a book or film. You remain awake, aware & in control at all times. 3. Therapeutic Hypnotherapy: Once relaxed, Karen works with the subconscious mind to: * Calm stress responses  * Change unhelpful patterns or habits  

* Improve emotional regulation  * Support confidence, comfort & wellbeing. This is  gentle, collaborative process, nothing is done to you. 4. Returning To Full Awareness: At the end of the session, Karen will gently bring you back to full alertness, feeling calm & refreshed. Most people feel relaxed, clear-headed & comfortable afterwards. You will not have lost control in the session. You cannot be made to do or say anything you don't want to do. you can move speak, move or stop the session at any time. Clinical hypnotherapy is not stage hypnosis.

What If I Can't Be Hypnotised?

Most people can enter hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state that most people experience every day, such as when driving on autopilot or becoming absorbed in a book. Karen works at your pace & guides you gently throughout the process. Hypnotherapy is: * Safe  * Natural  * Drug free   * Non-invasive...  Karen practices ethically & professionally & always encourages clients to remain under the care of their GP or specialist where appropriate. Karen works Online with Hypnotherapy and can help clients that are experiencing -    1. Menopause & hormonal challenges    2. Stress, anxiety & emotional overwhelm    3. Weight struggles & emotional eating    4. Persistent or long-term pain    5. Confidence issues & life transitions. Each session is personalised, there are no generic sessions.

How Many Sessions Will I Need

Most clients work with Karen for 3 - 4 sessions over one month. During your free consultation, Karen will recommend a plan based on your individual needs. Many clients prefer online sessions saying they appreciate: * No travel time    * Comfort of being at home    * Greater flexibility     * Privacy    * Consistent support, wherever they live.  Online hypnotherapy  allows Karen to work effectively with clients regardless of location.
